Status Update: I am now LICENSED! I am so excited to share with you that I am not officially licensed. Maine State License number: MT 4509. YEAH!
So many incredible opportunities have presented themselves and I am just pinching myself to be sure I am not dreaming. In addition to my work with BETTY LOWE, LMT; I am also happy to announce that I have been given an opportunity to work with MARIA PHIPPS in her new Wellness Center. Maria and Rob have purchased a 200 year old farm house in Bridgton Maine and are creating a healing space. They will be doing a multitude of things at the FOUR WINDS HEALING ARTS CENTER. As soon as I have their full brochure I will post it for your review. But some of the things Maria and Rob will be doing include workshops on healing, arts, and wellness on all plains, physical, spiritual and emotional; a lending library, a functional art studio, classes on herbs, pottery, canning and of course therapeutic massage. I am attending a workshop on Maria's special blend of Lomi Lomi and Swedish Massage and her use of hot stones and shells. She also has a special foot treatment that she will be sharing with us. My work with Betty Lowe, LMT – Therapeutic Massage, on 274 Main Street, in Norway is ramping up. If you would like to check out a massage from Betty or I, give her a call and set up your appointment. at (207) 743-5060. Her space is gorgeous. You just have to see it. Betty schedules appointments Monday - Friday and I am working on Thursday and Friday Evenings from 6-9 and on Saturdays 9-12.
Even more exciting news - I will be seeing clients in Bridgton at the New Hampshire Institute for Therapeutic Arts (NHITA) on Monday Evenings, Tuesday Mornings/early afternoon, and Wednesdays from 8am - 9pm. I am so very excited about working in this therapeutic space. I hope you will come and check it out.
And Even More Exciting News: I am currently working on installing an application that will allow me to take credit card, debit card and paypal payments for my clients who want to take care of the payment process online. I am also applying for a provider number which will allow me to accept your insurance for payment. I'll keep you informed.
I have finally decided to go with the Online booking application of Gen Books, you will see the icon below "BookNow" on my facebook page and on my websites. Please check it out.
You can schedule your appointment and if needed cancel it online 24 hours a day. It is set up to send you a confirmation and a reminder of your appointment. It will also send you a note asking you to review your services. It would be great to hear what you think of the services you receive from me.
I have prepared the paperwork to take the National Certification exam in February 2011. I will continue to keep you posted as to my professional status.
